You will also support customer projects by ensuring that BIM requirements and data structures are implemented effectively.\nThe preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland, but Helsinki or Turkumay also be considered. We offer thepossibility of hybrid work.\nAs a BIM Coordinator,your work will include:\nModel and Data Management: Managing the creation, organisation, and maintenance of BIM models and data\n\nStandardisation: Ensuring adherence to BIM standards and protocols,developingand implementingBIM protocols\n\nTraining: Educatingyour ownorganisationand external stakeholders in tasks related to the BIM process\n\nProblem Resolution: Identifyingand resolving issues related to model coordination\n\nCoordination: Overseeing the collaborative efforts of various project teams and disciplines\n\nSingle Disciplinary Coordination: Ensuring that models from different disciplines (architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical, process) align correctly, identifyingand resolving clashes to avoid conflicts during construction\n\nMultidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinating betweenvarious disciplines to integrate their models seamlessly, promoting collaboration and reducing errors\n\n3D Coordination & Design Review: UtilisingBIM to visualiseand analysethe 3D model for design review, enabling stakeholders to assess the project's overall integrity and functionality\n\nCollaboration:Coordinating collaboration between engineering partners and their deliveries\n\nCommunication: Facilitatingeffective communication between different stakeholders\n\nYou’llbe working as part of amulticultural and open-minded team with diverse expertise.\nTo be able to succeed in the position,we expect you to have:\nUniversity-level education\n\n3+ years’ work experience in a similar role\n\nExperience with Forma / Autodesk Construction Cloud and other Autodesk products is considered a strong advantage\n\nKnowledge ofISO19650is an advantage\n\nStrong knowledge of Navisworks and Revit, and/or other BIM software is desirable\n\nStrong attention to detailand a solution-drivenmindset\n\nStrong written and oral communication skills in English\n\nA self-driven attitude and motivation to learn and grow professionally\n\nGood communication, negotiationand teamwork skills\n\nAbility to understand and work with diverse cultures\n\nWhy you and us?\nWe at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownershipand taking responsibility for ourwork.
