We are looking for a person who can connect business needs, operational processes, data and digital solutions into meaningful business outcomes. You will help ensure that development initiatives create measurable value for the business while supporting Wärtsilä’s broader digital transformation journey.\nInitially, your focus will be on owning and developing the Transactional Scope Configurator capability and supporting the evolution of digital capabilities used throughout the offering, quotation and service lifecycle.\nSuccess in this role comes from working collaboratively with business stakeholders, peers and development teams to turn ideas into adopted solutions and measurable business value.\nIn This Role You Will:\nContribute to Digital Business Transformation\nOwn and maintain the roadmap for assigned business capabilities and applications, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives\n\nCollaborate closely with peers, process owners, architects and business stakeholders to ensure development activities support shared goals\n\nIdentify improvement opportunities and proactively initiate development activities that create business value\n\nBalance immediate business needs with long-term development objectives\n\nLead Product Ownership and Development\nAct as Product Owner for assigned business applications and capabilities\n\nDefine, prioritize and maintain product roadmap and backlog\n\nTranslate business requirements and strategic objectives into actionable development initiatives\n\nCollaborate closely with architects, developers and business stakeholders throughout the development cycle\n\nEnsure development activities move from idea to implementation in a structured and effective manner\n\nEnable Performance Monitoring and Business Value Realization\nDefine success measures and expected outcomes for new capabilities and improvements\n\nEnsure required data, reports and dashboards are available to monitor utilization, performance and business impact.\n\nBuild Partnerships Across Wärtsilä\nDevelop strong relationships with stakeholders across business, operations and technology functions\n\nFacilitate alignment between diverse stakeholder groups and competing priorities\n\nEngage continuously with end users to understand needs and validate solutions\n\nInfluence decisions through collaboration, expertise and trust\n\nSkills and Experience We Are Looking For:\nExperience in digital transformation, business development, process development, product ownership or a similar role.\n\nUnderstanding of how business processes, data and digital solutions work together to create business value.\n\nExperience working with Agile development methodologies and collaborating with development teams.\n\nAbility to translate business needs into practical development solutions and roadmaps.\n\nStrong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.\n\nStrong problem solving skills\n\nExperience with Salesforce.com and enterprise business applications is considered an advantage.\n\nExperience with customer-facing business processes, such as offering, sales or service operations is considered beneficial.\n\nWhat Makes You Successful in This Role:\nYou take ownership and proactively move initiatives forward.\n\nYou are comfortable balancing long-term vision with practical day-to-day execution.\n\nYou follow through on commitments and focus on achieving outcomes, not just completing activities.\n\nYou enjoy collaborating across teams and building strong stakeholder relationships\n\nYou are motivated by creating measurable business value through process and digital development.\n\nYou demonstrate resilience and persistence when working with complex and long-term initiatives.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Wärtsilä's digital sales and service landscape.\nYou will join a highly collaborative team of business development professionals who are passionate about improving processes, digital capabilities and business performance.
