The preferred location for this position is Drunen,The Netherlands but also Helsinki & Vaasa,\nFinland are negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid work.\nYour role and responsibilities\nAs a Software engineer your work will include developing and maintaining product configurators that are used\nin our quotation management system (QMS) When Wärtsilä Marine newbuild products are offered. You will\nalso assist in keeping related product configurator data and product cost updated in the system. You’ll be\nworking as a part of an agile and goal-driven Sales Tools team with diverse expertise.\nYour work will focus on these responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain product configurators used in QMS\nKeep product configuration data and costing up to date\nCollaborate with sales engineering team and assist them in case of technical issues\nKeep an active dialogue with product mgmt. to ensure product configurators are up to date\nDevelop and maintain other smaller applications used within the Sales Tools team\nTo be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:\nGood to excellent skills in HTML, JavaScript and CSS\nA good understanding of C# and .NET\nA good understanding of SQL\nA good understanding of GIT\nPrevious knowledge of propulsion products\nFluent written and spoken English\nExcellent teamworking skills\nAny previous experience with product configurators and Quotation Management Systems is advantageous\nWhy you and us?\nWe at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
