We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent - want to join the ride?\nWe are looking for a\nManager Field Services Resources - Global Field Services (Propulsion)\nYou will be based in Drunen Netherlands, with hybrid working available (minimum three days present in the Drunen office).\nAs Resources Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Propulsion Service and Commissioning Engineers, ensuring that the right skills are available at the right place and at the right time. You will create an environment where people can grow, collaborate and deliver excellent service to our customers.\nWhat you will do:\nLead, coach and develop the Propulsion Service Engineers team.\n\nManage assigned service delivery activities and resource requirements.\n\nSupport competence development through coaching, mentoring and on-the-job training.\n\nPromote strong preparation, quality and a “first time right” approach.\n\nMonitor team performance and drive continuous improvement.\n\nEnsure that processes and tools are followed in line with business and Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.\n\nWork closely with internal stakeholders to support effective planning and service delivery. Build a high-performing team based on trust, collaboration and accountability.\n\nContribute to action plans and ensure that business objectives and targets are achieved. Promote Operational Excellence and an excellent customer experience.\n\nDrive the Wärtsilä Purpose and demonstrate Wärtsilä values in your everyday work.\n\nEnsuring all team members receive initial instructions and are provided with adequate information to successfully complete all tasks to expectations from Operations\n\nTo be successful in this role, we expect you to have:\nProven track record in leading changeand delivering results.\n\nExperience in transferring competence and delivery capability, and ability to build structured competence development, mentoring and on-the-job learning models\n\nAbility to lead senior experts and managerswith high integrity, accountability. The ability to build trust, inspire others and support people’s development.\n\nGood understanding of resource planning, delivery risk, capacity, travel costs and the correct use of different competence levels\n\nStrategic thinking and clear potential to take responsibility for the wider FS Propulsion footprint network\n\nStrong experience in international marine life cycle services.
