The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.\nAs an On-Call Trainee, you can work up to 25 hours per week. The selected candidate needs to be a full-time student studying for a degree in Finland.\nYour role and responsibilities\nAs an On-call Trainee your work will include monthly closing tasks, journal entry postings, and other ad hoc Record to Report tasks. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as part of an energetic team with diverse expertise.\nYour work will focus on these responsibilities:\nMonth-end closing\nClosing tool maintenance\nRecord to Report processes\nJournal entry postings\nOther ad hoc and cross-team tasks\nTo be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:\nStudies in a relevant field, e.g. financial accounting\nFluent English skills\nGood understanding of financial accounting\nGood skills in Microsoft Office programmes\nGood communication and cooperation skills\nWhy you and us?\nWe at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership, and taking responsibility for our work.
