The role supports our business lines by providing high-quality reception, switchboard, security, access control, mail, administration, facility, and procurement services with a focus on cost efficiency and sustainability. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our offices in Rubbestadneset, Bømlo, and Heiane, Stord.\nYour role and responsibilities\nAs an Operator Service Center/Receptionist, you will provide first-class hospitality at our two locations, operate the switchboard for Wärtsilä’s legal entities and locations in Norway, and support security, access control, mail, administration, facilities, and procurement. You will be part of an engaged Real Estate and Facility team with diverse expertise. The role also offers opportunities to develop and improve our service center.\nYour work will focus on these responsibilities:\nProvide first-class hospitality at our two Wärtsilä Norway locations.\nOperate the switchboard for all Wärtsilä legal entities and locations in Norway.\nHandle internal and external mail.\nManage security services, including the ISPS areas at Rubbestadneset.\nMonitor premises for fire safety and evacuation readiness.\nManage access control systems.\nSupport administration, facilities, and procurement, with a focus on cost efficiency and sustainability reporting.\nTo be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:\nA proactive, self-driven approach and willingness to take responsibility.\nA service-minded and energetic presence.\nFluency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.\nSolid experience with Microsoft Office 365.\nExperience in a service-related role and familiarity with administrative tools.\nKnowledge of or interest in facility management, cost control, and sustainability reporting.\nWhy you and us?\nWe at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
