Want to join the ride?\nThe People Analytics Partner serves as a strategic advisor to senior business and HR leaders across Marine, Energy and Group Functions, enabling data informed decisions on workforce, talent, organizational effectiveness and future workforce priorities.\nBy combining business acumen, consulting expertise and advanced analytics, the role translates complex business challenges into actionable workforce insights and recommendations. The People Analytics Partner partners closely with leaders to identify opportunities, address organizational challenges and maximize the impact of people-related investments and interventions.\nBeyond delivering insights, the role plays a key part in advancing Wärtsilä's People Analytics capabilities. This includes shaping the People Analytics roadmap, supporting the evolution and adoption of Visier, onboarding new workforce data sources and ensuring that analytics solutions continue to meet evolving business and HR needs.\nThe role also acts as a catalyst for data-informed decision-making, helping build analytical capabilities across HR and promoting innovative approaches to address future workforce and work challenges.\nWe are ideally looking for an individual based in Finland to connect and align with senior stakeholders and group corporate functions and operate across global timezones, but would consider other European locations.\n\nKey accountabilities:\n1. Strategic Workforce Advisory & Business Partnering\nPartner with senior business leaders, HR Business Partners and COEs across Marine, Energy and Group Functions to identify strategic workforce challenges and opportunities. \nShape and influence workforce, talent and organizational decisions through data-informed insights and evidence-based recommendations. \nAct as a trusted advisor on workforce composition, talent flows, retention, competences, leadership effectiveness and employee experience. \nSupport business strategy execution by translating strategic priorities into workforce analytics and actionable recommendations. \nFacilitate strategic discussions with senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions and guide decision-making through data and evidence. \nLead complex analyses to identify workforce trends, risks and opportunities impacting business performance. \nDeliver end-to-end people analytics projects, from problem definition and stakeholder engagement through analysis, recommendations and implementation support. \nDevelop predictive, diagnostic and scenario-based analyses to support proactive workforce decisions. \n2. People Intelligence & Analytics Platform Development\nLead the onboarding and integration of new data sources into Visier, including talent, learning, engagement, organizational effectiveness and workforce planning data. \nCollaborate with HR COEs and business stakeholders to define business requirements and prioritize analytics development initiatives. \nDrive the development of scalable analytics solutions, dashboards and self-service capabilities. \nContribute to the People Analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment between business priorities, HR strategy and technology investments. \nChampion data governance principles and support the continuous improvement of workforce data quality, accessibility and trust. \nPartner with HR Technology, Data Governance and Process Owners to continuously enhance Wärtsilä's People Analytics ecosystem. \n3. Capability Building, Innovation & Thought Leadership\nPromote data-informed decision-making across HR and business communities. \nBuild analytics capabilities within HR by educating stakeholders on workforce insights, analytics methodologies and best practices. \nStay current with external trends in People Analytics, AI, workforce intelligence and employee listening. \nDrive the adoption of new analytics capabilities and innovative approaches to workforce decision-making. \nContribute to the evolution of People Analytics methodologies, governance and operating models. \nExperience & Qualifications:\n\n Required\nSignificant experience in People Analytics, Workforce Planning, HR Consulting or a related analytical role. \nExperience partnering with senior business and HR leaders in a global organization. \nProven track record of leading complex analytics or consulting projects from concept to implementation. \nExperience working with workforce data, analytics platforms and visualization tools.\nEnglish is our common business lannguage, fluency in both written spoken English is mandatory.\nPreferred\nMaster's in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Psychology or a related field. \n8-12+ years of relevant experience in consulting, People Analytics, Workforce Planning or HR Strategy. \nExperience with Visier and modern HR analytics ecosystems. \nExperience in predictive analytics, employee listening and organizational effectiveness. \nFamiliarity with AI-enabled analytics and future workforce trends. \nWhy join us?\nWe at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
