This position is based in Vaasa, Finland, and we offer the possibility of hybrid remote work.\nThe main responsibilities for this role are:\nSupporting project and sales teams with project-specific Electrical & Automation design\nCarrying out and coordinating assigned project activities, integration engineering and technical correspondence with internal team members, vendors, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders\nCreating project-specific technical specifications and design requirements for purchasing purposes\nCarrying out sub-supplier delivery and quality follow-ups\nActing as a stand-in for Chief Project Engineers\nSupporting the site team during installation and commissioning\nDevelopment responsibilities for this role are:\nParticipating in developing and maintaining tools and work methods in your own responsibility area\nGiving, collecting, and handling feedback regarding technical solutions and complaints\nProviding lessons learned initiatives for developing issues in your own responsibility area\nFor you to shine in this role, we hope that you have the following:\nA BSc. or MSc. in Electrical or Automation Engineering\nAn understanding of electrical engineering systems and technical drawings\nExperience in design work, for example in industrial, infrastructure, marine, energy, or similar environments\nA self-driven mindset, teamwork skills, and motivation to learn and grow professionally\nWillingness to travel, as well as the ability to understand and work with diverse cultures\nWork experience in the electrical or automation field is seen as a benefit\nThe ability to communicate in English\nWhy you and us?\nWe at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership, and taking responsibility for our work.
