We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent - want to join the ride?\nTo provide commissioning, field services and customer support for a range of constantly updated Wartsila products.\nYour Main Responsibilities:\nCarry out automation service and commissioning of Wartsila equipment and systems.\nUndertake installation surveys and assessments. Carry out maintenance and repairs to company equipment as required.\nProvide timely reports and accurate feedback on all after-sales service and commissioning activities.\nAssist the engineering department and customers with installation, planning & design.\nProvide recommendations for the improvement of company systems, specifications, installation and operating procedures.\nRepresent the company's interests and promote the company values while interacting with external parties.\nProvide emergency 'out of hours' contact and support.\nBe familiar with and comply with the company's policies. Promote compliance with policies relating to health, safety and environmental matters.\nWork in a manner that promotes the company's values.\nManagement may require other similar or related duties to be performed at certain times, which are outside the terms of this job description.\nYou will shine in this role when you have:\nA good general electrical and automation process or marine engineering background.\nA good knowledge of electronic and PLC control systems. （WAGO, Siemens, Mitsubishi）\nQualifications in marine or process engineering to HNC or an equivalent level. Appropriate experience would be considered as an alternative.\nGood written and verbal communications skills in Chinese and English.\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently in a shipyard / shipboard environment.\nAware of the demands of working with diverse cultures.\nContributes positively to a team.\nCompetent in use of PC software, including MS office and other communication tools.\nDisplays a systematic approach to problem evaluation and resolution.\nA willingness to travel inside China frequently and outside of China if necessary.\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree minimum in Electrical/Marine Engineering\nExperience:\n3-5 years' work experience in marine industries or other heavy industries, field service.\nWhy you and us\nYou are valued - as your true self.
