Want to join the ride?\nField Service Technician, E&A\nJob Purpose\nProvides technical field services to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role is remote-based in Puerto Rico.\nKey Accountabilities\nExecutes field service activities, including installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment in accordance with maintenance and service agreements and technical specifications.\nDiagnoses and troubleshoots equipment issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.\nFollows established safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.\nInteracts with customers to understand their service needs and provides solutions that meet their expectations.\nMaintains accurate records of service activities, parts used, and time spent on each job to ensure to ensure traceability and compliance.\nCollaborates with the service team and other teams to share knowledge and improve service delivery.\nParticipates in continuous learning and training to stay updated with the latest technologies and service techniques.\nKnowledge and Experience\nHas basic knowledge and skills required for the job.\nOperational and practical knowledge of tools and processes used to execute activities relevant to the job.\nInnovation and Change: Identifies recurring problems and recommends solutions.\nResolves routine problems following established procedures and processes; escalates all other problems.\nTeamwork and Leadership: Contributes as a team member providing assistance to others.\nCommunication and Networking: Deals promptly with stakeholder/customer enquiries in accordance with set procedures.\nEscalates non-routine issues to the appropriate person/level.\nBusiness Impact: Delivers internal/external stakeholder/customer-focused services and tasks in line with established instructions.\nAccountable for quality and accuracy of own output.\nTravel Requirements:\nThis position requires a high level of travel (approximately 60%), including domestic and international assignments, both onshore and offshore.\nAs part of the recruitment process, certain roles will be subject to pre-employment conditions, which can include - but are not limited to - reference checks, background screening (criminal record, education, and employment verification), fit-to-work medical assessments, and confirmation of eligibility to work in US.\nCandidates for regular U.S and Puerto Rico positions must be a U.S. citizen, national, or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee, asylee with valid work permit or temporary resident under 8 U.S.C. 1160(a) or 1255a(1).
