Want to join the ride?\nJob Purpose\nThe Shift Leader is responsible for coordinating and leading day-to-day shift operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance of operational activities. The role supervises operators and support personnel during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with company policies, operational procedures, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Operational Leadership\nLead and coordinate all activities during assigned shifts to ensure operational objectives are achieved.\nMonitor operational processes, equipment performance, and production targets.\nAllocate work assignments and resources effectively to meet operational demands and deadlines.\nEnsure continuity of operations through effective shift handovers and communication.\n2. Team Supervision\nSupervise, coach, and support operators and other shift personnel.\nProvide guidance, instruction, and on-the-job training to team members.\nPromote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.\nParticipate in employee performance management activities, including feedback and disciplinary processes as required.\n3. Safety, Health and Environmental Compliance\nEnsure all work activities are performed in accordance with company Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) requirements.\nConduct safety briefings and toolbox talks as required.\nIdentify and address workplace hazards, unsafe behaviors, and non-compliance issues.\nEnsure incidents, near misses, and safety concerns are reported promptly and accurately.\n4. Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement\nMonitor operational performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.\nImplement corrective actions to address operational issues and improve efficiency.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, quality, and reliability.\n5. Resource Coordination\nEnsure the availability and proper use of equipment, tools, materials, and spare parts required for operations.\nCoordinate maintenance and operational activities to minimize downtime.\nEscalate equipment failures, resource shortages, or operational risks when necessary.\n6.
