As a Coordinator (m/w/d), you will be embedded into providing excellent support for our customer and colleagues by ensuring the smooth running of activities of our Field Services teams.\nThis is role is located in Hamburg Germany (Schlenzigstrasse).\nWhat are your main tasks and responsibilities?\nCoordinates and schedules field service operations, aligning team efforts with customer requirements and service standards.\nProvides technical support for ongoing 4-stroke engines \nReview service reports related to the project and ensure follow ups are conducted in timely and professional manner.\nCollaborates with customers and other external stakeholders and acts as a point of contact for field service teams, facilitating communication and shared awareness between technicians, customers, and relevant internal and external stakeholders.\nMonitors field service activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols, service standards, and operational processes as well as customer policies, guidelines and regulations.\nLiaise with service engineers, monitoring to ensure that jobs will be completed as per quotation.\nAssists in the resolution of technical and operational issues, providing support and guidance to field service personnel.\nContributes to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing enhancements to field service processes.\nMaintains accurate records of field service activities, including resource allocation, service delivery timelines, and customer feedback.\nWhat do we expect from you?\nA technical background, preferably within a service position is desirable but not essential.\nDemonstrable ability to communicate & solve problems effectively. \nComprehensive technical understanding of marine engines \nStructured, good attention to detail and self-motivated\nYou will have an excellent customer understanding.\nRecognized Engineering qualification, or equivalent experience.\nWillingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally.\nFluency in German and English is required.\nWhy you and us\nWe at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
