As a Senior Mobile Developer (React), you'll lead the design, development, and optimization of mobile applications using React Native and related technologies, owning the end-to-end mobile feature development lifecycle - from architecture and performance tuning to deployment - while mentoring team members and influencing mobile architecture decisions. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager.\nWhat you'll be expected to own:\nOwn the complete mobile development lifecycle for new features, from design to deployment across iOS and Android, ensuring code quality, maintainability, performance, and comprehensive test coverage.\n\nSet up, manage, and optimize mobile CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth app submissions to the iOS App Store and Google Play, including automated build/release pipelines and OTA update configuration.\n\nImplement proactive monitoring, crash analytics, and performance tuning, and respond rapidly to incidents to maintain app reliability.\n\nWork closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to align mobile development with business goals and technical feasibility.\n\nMentor mid-level and junior developers in React Native best practices, performance optimization, deployment workflows, and AI-assisted development.\n\nProvide input on mobile architecture decisions, including state management, navigation strategy, and performance patterns, to ensure scalability and maintainability.\n\nRecommend and evaluate new mobile libraries, AI-driven tools, and techniques to improve developer productivity and app performance.\n\nDrive improvements in CI/CD, automated testing, and AI-assisted code generation for mobile development workflows.\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\n5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with a strong track record of delivering production-grade mobile apps.\n\nSkilled in React Native with advanced JavaScript/TypeScript, building performant, cross-platform apps for iOS and Android.\n\nExperience integrating mobile apps with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.\n\nStrong understanding of app store deployment processes for iOS and Android.\n\nBonus points if:\nExperience with AI tools and productivity optimization.\n\nFamiliarity with AI-driven development tools for mobile productivity, such as AI-assisted code generation or automated UI testing.\n\nExperience mentoring or coaching other developers, and translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.\n\nWhat we bring to the table:\nImpact: Dig in and directly contribute to Wagepoint’s growth and success.\n\nCulture: Work alongside a team that genuinely enjoys solving problems together, celebrates wins, supports one another through challenges, and still finds time for the occasional terrible joke.\n\nGrowth: We believe learning is part of the job.
