As a Mobile Developer (React), you'll contribute to building and maintaining mobile applications using React Native, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and ensuring a smooth user experience across devices while following established architecture and coding standards. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager.\nWhat you'll be expected to own:\nImplement mobile app features for iOS and Android based on provided architecture and design specifications, ensuring features meet functional and performance requirements.\n\nWork with senior developers to set up and maintain mobile CI/CD workflows, support build processes, and assist with app submissions to stores.\n\nMonitor assigned features in production, and help investigate and fix crashes or performance bottlenecks under guidance from senior developers.\n\nPartner with Product, Design, and Backend developers to implement mobile features that meet design and functional requirements.\n\nShare learnings from mobile projects with peers, including tips for AI-assisted development, testing automation, and code optimization.\n\nParticipate in discussions on mobile architecture and suggest improvements for assigned areas, such as navigation flows or state management.\n\nTest and provide feedback on new mobile tools, libraries, and AI-assisted coding solutions introduced by the team.\n\nSuggest and implement improvements in testing, debugging, AI-assisted refactoring, and deployment workflows.\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\n2-4 years of experience in mobile development (React Native).\n\nExperience integrating with RESTful APIs.\n\nUnderstanding of the app store submission process.\n\nKnowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.\n\nAbility to create responsive, high-quality, pixel-perfect UI from design specifications.\n\nFamiliarity with navigation frameworks (e.g., React Navigation).\n\nBonus points if:\nExperience with AI tools and productivity optimization.\n\nFamiliarity with AI-powered tools for faster development, code generation, and bug fixing.\n\nInterest in sharing learnings with peers, including tips on AI-assisted development, testing automation, and code optimization.\n\nWhat we bring to the table:\nImpact: Dig in and directly contribute to Wagepoint’s growth and success.\n\nCulture: Work alongside a team that genuinely enjoys solving problems together, celebrates wins, supports one another through challenges, and still finds time for the occasional terrible joke.\n\nGrowth: We believe learning is part of the job.
