Working independently and collaboratively with team members.\nPrimary Job Responsibilities\nSet-up, break down and clean molds, which are used during the pouring process\nOperate large mixers\nPouring and casting of refractory parts\nPost process refractory parts including grinding, cutting and applying coatings\nOperation of kilns\nUse basic hand, electric, and pneumatic tools\nAble to operate a crane and forklift\nReading blueprints or job specifications to be able to perform various tasks\nMaintain proper and accurate paperwork including completion of inspection documentation\nFollow documented procedures and maintain a high degree of quality\nPerform housekeeping, organization, and maintenance of work area and tools \nPerform inspection of products using inspection equipment applicable to the task \nCommunicate effectively with co-workers using both written and verbal communication skills\nOrganized with an emphasis on quality and the ability to meet deadlines\nComply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area\nAbide by company policies\nIn order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be required\nOther duties as assigned \nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or GED\nFamiliar with hand and power tools\nAbility to enter data into a PC\nAbility to wear PPE\nWorking Environment\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, machinery and equipment, vibration, high pressure equipment and high temperature equipment. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. While performing some job duties, there is a risk of electrical shock and other risks associated with a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the working environment is often loud.
