We are building the new coffee brand of the 21st century with a team of like-minded innovators from all over the world.\nAbout the role\nOur retail network is growing fast, and we're looking for a Retail Demand Planner to make sure the right products are in the right place at the right time. You'll own demand planning across all retail and non-retail categories, balancing waste against out-of-stocks, and building planning processes that can keep pace with menu changes and several product launches every year. You'll be the link between data and people: turning numbers into forecasts, and forecasts into decisions that work on the shop floor.\nYou will work in the S&OP team together with other planners and system specialists. This team takes care of planning and the ERP system, working closely with operations and finance.\nWhat you'll do\nDemand planning and forecasting\nOwn demand planning for the entire retail network across all CPG and non-CPG categories, with a clear focus on minimizing waste and out-of-stocks (OOS)\n\nBuild, maintain, and continuously improve statistical forecasts at store and SKU level\n\nIntegrate insights, promotions, events, and product launches from Marketing, Product, Operations, and other teams into the forecast model\n\nMonitor forecast accuracy, waste, and OOS KPIs, analyze root causes, and act on deviations\n\nPlan for seasonality, weather effects, local events, and store-specific patterns. Lead demand planning for at least four menu changes and multiple new product launches per year, including initial allocations, ramp-up, and phase-outs of discontinued items\n\nSet forecasts for new stores and new products where historical data is limited\n\nMake sure planning tools, processes, and ways of working scale as the network grows\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate and improve planning processes\n\nExplore and implement AI and machine-learning tools in demand planning\n\nDocument processes so planning stays consistent and transparent\n\nCollaboration and communication\nWork closely with planning, store teams and the warehouse to translate forecasts into practical ordering and replenishment decisions\n\nCollect feedback from stores and incorporate on-the-ground knowledge into the plan\n\nPresent forecasts, performance, and recommendations clearly to senior management and leadership\n\nAlign with Purchasing and Supply Chain on volumes, lead times, and capacity\n\nWhat you bring\nAt least 2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain. Experience in coffee chains, food & beverage retail and supermarkets is a strong plus\n\nSolid knowledge of statistics and forecasting methods (e.g. time series, moving averages, regression)\n\nHands-on experience managing fresh or short shelf-life products, where waste and availability must be carefully balanced\n\nAdvanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, Python, R, or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker, Tableau) is a strong plus\n\nExperience with ERP systems is a plus\n\nExperience planning promotions, product launches, and assortment changes\n\nA degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is a strong plus\n\nProficiency in English, Dutch is a plus\n\nBonus: experience integrating AI or machine learning into demand planning\n\nBonus: experience in a fast-growing or scale-up environment\n\nBonus: experience with Odoo\n\nWho you are\nData-driven first: you base your analyses and decisions on data, but you also understand that not everything can be measured, and you know how to weigh non-quantifiable factors and the human element\n\nA clear communicator: you're equally comfortable presenting to leadership as you are talking with colleagues in the stores and warehouse, adjusting your message to your audience\n\nStructured and proactive: you bring order to complexity and spot problems before they happen\n\nA builder: you enjoy improving and scaling processes, not just running them\n\nHands-on and curious: you like visiting stores to understand what's behind the numbers, and you're eager to learn new tools and methods\n\nA team player: you build strong relationships across departments and take ownership of results\n\nCalm under pressure: you keep a cool head during launches, peaks, and unexpected changes\n\nWhat we offer\nWork in a young, flexible, international, and entrepreneurial team\n\nUnlimited enjoyment of the best coffee\n\nFlexible working hours\n\nSalary: 3500 € -
