Whether building bridges, stabilizing shorelines, rehabilitating structures, or providing site engineering and construction solutions for solar, Walbec is your bridge to expertise in construction and engineering.\nWith safety and ethics at the core of everything we do, our experienced professionals are hard at work on commercial and industrial sites throughout the Midwest.\nThe Position:\nWe're looking for a Paving Foreman,for our upcoming 2026 season, responsible for assisting with any and all aspects of efficient personnel scheduling, crew management, overseeing paving equipment needs and repair, and reinforcement of continuous quality improvement in the area of laydown and compaction.\nRequirements:\nValid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.\n\nA CDL is desired but not necessary.\n\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.\n\nMust be punctual, dependable and have a high ethical standard for personal and business conduct.\n\nMust be self-directed and motivated; able to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities.\n\nHave the ability to be trusted with confidential information and observe anti-trust laws and regulations.\n\nHave the ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.\n\nBe able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.\n\nMember of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member are required. Union membership is not required prior to employment.
