The Position:
- Support Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
- Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, documentation, and project communications.
- Gain exposure to the bidding and estimating process, including reviewing plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and field operations to develop an understanding of construction project management.
- Assist with tracking project progress, production, budgets, and key project milestones.
- Support project documentation, contract administration, and recordkeeping activities.
- Collaborate with project teams, field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to support project success.
- Learn and apply industry safety practices while participating in field and office-based project activities.
- Shadow experienced Project Managers and Operations leaders to gain hands-on experience in heavy highway and construction management.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
