This internship is ideal for a student studying Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field who enjoys writing, storytelling, and creating engaging content.\nResponsibilities\nWhat You’ll Do\nParticipate in team meetings and professional development opportunities while gaining exposure to different areas of Walbridge.\nAssist with writing and editing original content for internal and external communications, including media relations, social media, website content, and other communications and marketing materials. \nSupport the broader marketing team with development of presentations, brochures, fact sheets, internal bulletins, event and promotional materials. \nAssist with social media content and digital storytelling initiatives that showcase Walbridge projects, people, culture, and business activities while maintaining brand standards. \nHelp maintain and organize marketing materials, digital assets, images, and information used by the Marketing team and employees. \nAssist with marketing events, employee engagement initiatives, and other communications projects as needed. \nProofread and review materials for clarity, accuracy, consistency, grammar, and brand alignment. \nQualifications\nWhat You’ll Bring\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.\nStrong verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.\nStrong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple assignments, work independently as needed and meet deadlines.\nCollaborative approach and willingness to learn in a professional environment.\nFamiliarity with Adobe Creative Suite, social media and digital content creation is a plus.\nWhat You’ll Gain\nYou’ll gain practical experience working on real communications and marketing projects while developing your skills in professional writing and digital communications.
