You will play a key role in ensuring positive employee relations among all team members and fostering a productive work environment.\nLocation\nYou will work from a long-term project near Van Buren Township, MI.\nResponsibilities\nYour Key Responsibilities\nChampion: Advance Walbridge culture of inclusion initiative and promote strong working relationships.\nGuide: Provide guidance and maintain compliance with EEO, labor classifications, and OFCCP requirements.\nFacilitate: Partner with on-site project supervisors, facilitate the Talent Acquisition process, and support the corporate HR team.\nOversight: Provide oversight of new team member programs, health & wellness initiatives, training, labor postings and signage, and substance abuse testing process.\nInvestigate: Lead investigations and resolve team member relations matters promptly and effectively.\nQualifications\nTo Qualify for the role, you must have\nA bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field, and a 3-5 years of HR experience.\nProven expertise in a specific HR specialty area (e.g., recruitment, team member relations, benefits administration).\nProficiency in HR information systems, databases, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint), and data analysis tools.\nStrong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with discretion.\nExcellent time management, organization skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nWillingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 10%. \nIdeally, you’ll also have\nExperience working in a construction or unionized environment.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nAbility to build relationships and work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.\nExcited to make an impact?
