Assists with onboarding and personnel recordkeeping for new hires and current employees.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOther duties may be assigned by the Regional Vice President (RVP) or Director of Learning and Development:\nCoordinates and conducts all instructor-led training for both internally and externally developed programs, including, but not limited to, Initial Security Officer Training (ISOT) program, re-training programs, annual In-Service Training, firearms, use of force, less-than-lethal weapons, safety, and orientation. Specialized training sessions and all other instructor-led training for security officers and security supervisors within the branch/organization; \nParticipates as a subject-matter expert with respect to training certifications to provide updates to new and existing training content, give guidance to new and existing officers, and inform the Director of Learning & Development of new training requirements, best practices, and techniques.\nWorks with all local HR and Operations team members to communicate licensing and training requirements, including but not limited to security license status, training certification expiration, past due training, and upcoming training schedule.\nWorks with local HR and Operations team to schedule new-hire training classes around business needs. \nWorks with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze, and solve problems and creates opportunities for continuous improvement;\nFacilitates other individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops for internal and external customers, as directed by the General Manager, Regional Vice President, or Director of Learning and Development;\nTests trainees to measure progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training. \nMentors and reports on the progress of new employees under guidance during training periods to the Branch Human Resources Manager, RVP, or General Manager; \nMaintains training, licensing, and compliance records by accurately entering all training and licensing information into the Learning Management System and works with Learning & Development to correct any discrepancies.\nSupports recruiting activities within the branch and delivers drug screening, orientation, and onboarding paperwork to new employees;\nOversees all uniform orders, assignments, exchanges, or reimbursements while maintaining uniform room cleanliness and inventory;\nMaintains confidentiality of all information and data. • Will travel as needed to provide required training to officers and officer candidates, usually up to 50% of the time;\nOther responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager, RVP, or Director of Learning & Development; The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nMust have:Current NC PPSB armed/ unarmed guard card\nCurrent NC PPSB unarmed instructor certification\nArmed NC PPSB instructor preferred\n\nArmed/ Unarmed South Carolina SLED instructor preferred along with NC PPSB instructor certs.\nMinimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Some college education or business classes are desirable.\nMinimum 1 - 2 years of professional-level experience required. Prior experience in the fire service, security industry, law enforcement, or the military is highly desired.\nExperience in security operations or other functions of the security industry is a plus.\nSurrounding state certifications preferred. \nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations using the English language. Ability to write reports, internal business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:\nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
