Developers are backed by an active AI user group, overseas hackathons and a culture of growing capability from within.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for an Intermediate .NET Developer to join a close-knit team. You will start on well-scoped pieces of real production work and take on more as you prove yourself, with senior developers close by to review, challenge and guide. The work is backend-focused, building the services and agents that sit behind tools used across the business every day.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nBuilding backend services and APIs in C# and .NET that power AI agents, conversational assistants and automated workflows\nConnecting an in-house language model to customer, pricing and transaction data\nHelping deliver features that predict customer behaviour and remove repetitive manual work\nUsing AI coding assistants daily to move faster, then checking and testing what they produce before it goes anywhere near production\nHaving your code reviewed by senior developers, learning from it, and reviewing the work of others\nWorking with analysts in an agile delivery stream to turn rough ideas into working software\nTaking part in the AI user group and bringing new tools and techniques back to the team\nSkills and Experience We're Looking For\n2-4 years' commercial experience in C# and .NET\nComfortable building and consuming REST APIs, with working SQL Server knowledge\nExposure to cloud platforms\nReal experience using AI coding tools, and curiosity about LLM APIs and agents\nSolid fundamentals in object-oriented design, testing, source control and agile delivery\nAn ambitious, quick-learning attitude and a habit of asking good questions\nAble to talk through your own code and comfortable writing some live in a technical interview\nThis position is based in Christchurch.
