This position will help ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments while enabling engineering teams to build and deliver innovative, data-driven solutions.\nWorking closely with Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams, the Senior Cloud Services Engineer, II, will help modernize and automate our cloud operations, implement infrastructure best practices, and support highly available systems that serve both internal users and external products. This role will directly impact the productivity of WDTech teams and the performance of the platforms that support collaboration, communication, monitoring, and data governance across the organization.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise collaboration, monitoring, and security platforms including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Purview, Box, and Cisco Email Security (Ironport).\nManage and optimize enterprise cloud services and SaaS platforms to ensure reliability, performance, and availability for internal users and business applications.\nIndependently evaluate complex infrastructure challenges, recommend technical solutions, and implement improvements to cloud services, system performance, and operational efficiency.\nAutomate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources as required.\nUtilize monitoring and observability solutions using tools such as SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted to ensure proactive detection of system performance issues and service disruptions.\nSupport enterprise data governance and compliance initiatives through the implementation and management of tools such as Microsoft Purview.\nLead the investigation and resolution of complex technical incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement operational improvements to enhance system reliability and operational maturity.\nPartner with Information Security to ensure infrastructure platforms and SaaS services adhere to security policies, regulatory requirements, and enterprise governance standards.\nUtilize ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence to manage work tracking, operational documentation, and knowledge sharing across engineering and infrastructure teams.\nContribute to the development and enforcement of infrastructure standards, cloud architecture guidelines, and operational best practices across the organization.\nProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure architecture documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with established standards.\nBe part of an on-call rotation for 24/7 support of the infrastructure.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nEducation and Experience\n8+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, cloud services, or related technical disciplines.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience in real-estate domain a plus.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nStrong understanding of Azure, AWS, and related cloud technologies.\nAbility to maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and system configurations.\nStrong understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture, networking, identity management, and enterprise SaaS integrations.\nKnowledge of data governance, compliance, and information lifecycle management practices within cloud environments.\nKnowledgeable in disaster recovery and business continuity principles.\nUnderstanding of information security certifications and audits.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes\nCourtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders\nThis position has an estimated base salary of $145,000 - $160,000 plus a discretionary bonus.
