We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa currently.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\nAs a direct report to the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for supervising direct reports and a diverse team of 30+ employees.\nYour principal responsibilities will be to drive a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and teamwork that delivers superior workforce performance, while coaching and mentoring subordinates.\nYou’ll be pushing your team, and yourself, to continuously find ways to improve and deliver timely, high-quality results, alongside the best team in the business.\nIn addition, you can expect to:\nDevelop, motivate and train all levels of employees for their professional development and future growth \nDrive a culture of continuous process improvement\nDeliver accurate, timely communications (horizontal and vertical) \nSet the standards and lead as example to create a positive environment, attitude and reputation\nEngender trust and respect\nMaintain positive relations with customers, vendors, business associates and employees\nEnsure that supervisory staff is cross-trained in multiple functions, and embraces a team-oriented approach to problem solving\nLeadership skills and the ability to inspire greater productivity from workers\nEnsure that adequate training and tools are provided to all employees\nEvaluate and establish operating procedures\nEnsure that workplace safety standards are met\nPromote a workplace environment based on diversity, equity and inclusion\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED\n5-7 years planning, directing operations\nPractical knowledge of revenue drivers and efficiency standards to deliver positive financial results\nManufacturing and Production experience is a must\nExperience leading continuous process improvements to achieve a safe and cost-efficient work environment that meets performance targets\nSOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual factory management\nProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software applications\nClean and valid driver's license \nAbility to drive manual and automatic transmissions\nEVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:\nAbility to operate light and heavy forklifts.\nExperience using cranes to load and unload machines.\nExperience with light/heavy construction, earthmoving and/or agricultural equipment, over the road transport\nExperience in working with (FTZ) Foreign Trade Zone\nProficiency in the use of Workday\nABOUT YOU:\nYou have a growth mindset and want to be part of a high-performance team that loves challenges.
