In this role, you’ll work alongside a dynamic team and partner with senior leadership to advance high-impact strategic initiatives that fall outside of the core operations of the hedge fund. You’ll help translate business needs and prototypes into practical, technology-enabled solutions, including building internal AI-native tools, custom agents that streamline workflows, and management-facing reporting that improves business visibility. This internship offers meaningful hands-on development experience, exposure to high-priority projects, and direct mentorship.\nThe internship is 10 weeks in length and will take place in New York City from June to August 2027.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the team in translating high-level strategic objectives into structured project plans and executable workflows.\nContribute to greenfield projects throughout the development lifecycle, including research, scoping, prototyping, testing, and implementation.\nBuild and enhance internal AI-native tools, user-facing applications, automations, and processes.\nAct as an internal technological consultant/liaison to teams across the firm to understand business needs, gather domain expertise, and help advance cross-functional initiatives.\nPotential to contribute to executive-facing technology solutions.\nWe seek individuals who:\nAre pursuing an undergraduate or non-MBA master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.\nShowcase excellent communication and problem-solving skills, an ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical audiences, intellectual curiosity, and comfort working through ambiguous problems.\nAre a proactive self-starter with demonstrated leadership ability, strong ownership mentality, and the initiative to move projects forward independently.\nDemonstrate exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a strong foundation in programming (specifically Python) and a passion for technological innovation; familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and API development is a plus.\nLeverage AI tools to enhance productivity, drive efficiency, and improve workflows; hold experience integrating AI services, including LLMs or APIs, into academic, research, internship, or personal projects.\nHave a genuine interest in the hedge fund industry and how high-performing organizations operate, with previous internship, research, or project experience in financial services, technology, or another fast-paced environment. \nPay Range:\nThe expected monthly pay for this position is $14,000/month.
