We partner closely with business stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights through modern BI platforms, automation, and advanced analytics. The team focuses on building scalable reporting products, driving data governance and quality, leveraging AI-powered capabilities, and continuously improving analytics processes to create measurable business impact. We foster a culture of innovation, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning while embracing emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Microsoft Fabric, and cloud-based analytics platforms.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI\nManage reports and workspaces in Power BI Service, including setup and deployment of Power BI Apps\nCreate data model in Power BI using star/snowflake schema\nEnsure appropriate data refresh schedules, access controls, andversioning in the Power BI workspace\nUtilize Microsoft Fabric to build and manage modern analytics solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, semantic modeling, and integration with Power BI.\nSupport the adoption of Fabric capabilities to improve data accessibility, scalability, and self-service analytics.\nUse Python to automate routine data processing and reporting tasks\nPerform data wrangling and transformation in Dataiku, integrating with GCP (especially Big Query)\nCollaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business needs into actionable reports\nEnsure dashboards are scalable, accurate, and well-documented\nFollow BI best practices around design principles, governance, and performance optimization\nWhat You’ll bring\nMinimum 5-7 years of experience in analytics or business intelligence roles\nExpert-level skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modelling)\nExperience managing Power BI Service environments and Power BI Apps\nKnowledge of Fabric data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and monitoring capabilities\nStrong proficiency in Python, specifically for automating data workflows and reporting tasks\nHands-on experience with Dataiku or similar data prep tools\nWorking knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Big Query\nProficient in SQL and working with large, complex datasets\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities\nStrong understanding of data governance, quality, and best practices in BI.\nStrong track record of working as an IC and experience in end-to-end project implementation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar modern analytics platforms.\nPower BI, and Fabric certifications are highly desirable.\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale analytics products and stakeholder communities.\nAbout Walmart Global Tech\nImagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
