Joining CTS means embarking on a journey of limitless growth, relentless innovation, and the chance to set new industry standards that shape the future of Walmart.\nWhat you will do\nDesign, develop, train, and deploy production-ready computer vision solutions for fintech use cases, including detection, segmentation, OCR, document AI, and visual retrieval\nCollaborate with cross-functional partners ( Finance, Tech, Product) to align on priorities and execute initiatives\nBuild and optimize computer vision architectures, embeddings, and appropriate evaluation techniques\nMonitor model accuracy, latency, throughput, drift, reliability, GPU utilization, and cost in production; identify issues and implement continuous improvements\nArticulate and present recommendations to business partners and influence plans based on insights\nWork with the customer-centric mindset to deliver high-quality business driven solutions\nStay current with advances in computer vision, generative AI, document intelligence, vision-language models, GPU inference, and production ML practices\nDrive innovation in approach, method, practices, process, outcome, delivery, or any component of end-to-end problem solving\nProactively engages in the external community to build Walmart's brand and learn more about industry practices\nPromote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity\nWhat you will bring\nQualifications : PhD (3 yrs +) / Master’s ( 5 yrs +) / Bachelor’s (7 yrs+) preferably in Computer Science\nStrong experience in computer vision and deep learning models\nStrong understanding of CNNs, Vision Transformers, attention mechanisms, transfer learning, open source and frontier VLMs\nExperience in model evaluation , optimizing GPU inference using batching, quantization, mixed precision, TensorRT, ONNX, or equivalent technologies\nStrong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and the AI/ML stack\nExperience deploying models through APIs, batch pipelines, or cloud-based inference platforms\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a strong sense of ownership and delivery focus\nStrong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical partners\nAbout Walmart Global Tech\n Imagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
