Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Global Investigations leads complex investigations across multiple business segments, primarily focused on discrimination matters. This role identifies risks, provides expert consultation, and collaborates with internal/external partners to support investigative outcomes. The position oversees investigative processes, mentors team members, ensures adherence to legal and ethical standards, and drives continuous improvement through data analysis and proactive risk management. Through strategic leadership and sound judgment, the Senior Manager strengthens accountability and organizational integrity. This role, based at the Walmart Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas, participates in a rotational on-call schedule and may require occasional travel within the United States.

The Global Investigations-US team is dedicated to safeguarding the company and its associates by identifying risks and conducting thorough investigations into complex and sensitive misconduct, including discrimination, harassment, fraud, theft, and commercial corruption. Team members collaborate closely with internal business partners to ensure thorough analysis and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Through objective investigations and actionable insights, the team supports informed decision-making, strengthens accountability, and fosters a culture of integrity and continuous improvement while helping maintain a safe and trustworthy environment.

What you'll do...

  • Lead complex investigations, primarily focused on discrimination allegations across multiple business units, as well as harassment, retaliation, fraud, corruption, misappropriation, conflicts of interest, and other significant misconduct.
  • Utilize AI to develop investigative strategies, analyze evidence, conduct interviews, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and external agencies to support investigations and mitigate risk.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and recommend process improvements to strengthen controls.
  • Mentor investigators and provide investigative guidance, fostering professional development and investigative excellence.
  • Drive the execution of global investigation plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities and adherence to legal, ethical, and compliance standards across investigative activities and outcomes.

What you'll bring...

  • Extensive experience leading complex investigations, with demonstrated expertise investigating discrimination allegations across multiple business units or organizational environments.
  • Specialized experience or background in employment or labor law, EEO or civil rights investigations, or comparable discrimination-focused fields.
  • Proven ability to develop investigative strategies, analyze evidence, conduct interviews, and present findings.
  • Strong mentoring, collaboration, communication, and investigative report-writing skills.
  • Expertise identifying risks and recommending process improvements to enhance effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools and fundamental use of AI to support investigative strategies, evidence analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to legal and ethical standards, compliance requirements, and company policies in all investigative activities.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
