We encourage you to familiarize yourself with each area to gain a better understanding of the potential opportunities.\nNetwork Engineer II, Information Security: \nResolves network security infrastructure issues by troubleshooting and diagnosing through root cause analysis. \n\nEnhances network security infrastructure by monitoring network performance. \n\nInstalls network security infrastructure; assists team members with changes; works with suppliers and senior team members to review system performance. \n\nAssesses potential network security issues and identifies solutions. \n\nConducts audits on network rules, alerts, and monitors on a scheduled basis. \n\nAssists in network security design. \n\n Systems and Infrastructure Engineer II, Information Security: \nResolves security system issues (e.g., configuration and management of security systems, spam filtering, identify and access management) by troubleshooting and diagnosing through root cause analysis. \n\nAssesses potential security system issues and identifies solutions. \n\nEnhances security systems by monitoring and maintaining security products. \n\nInstalls security systems; assists team members with changes; works with suppliers and senior team members to review system performance; identifies and recommends improvements to system alerts and monitors. \n\nConducts audits on security systems. \n\nAssists in network security design. \n\nApplication Security Engineer II: \nCollaborates closely with product and software development teams to design secure applications and services \n\nDevelops and implements security solutions that adhere to the SDLC and security methodologies \n\nConducts application threat modeling using industry methodologies \n\nUtilizes application security metrics to identify gaps in secure development practices \n\nCyber Intelligence Engineer II: \nMonitors cyber threats by leveraging industry standard tools, custom tools, and best practices. \n\nCollects, analyzes, and correlates data points between various feeds, tools, and personal interactions. \n\nAnalyzes data to determine the need for further action. \n\nDiscerns patterns of complex threat actor behavior. \n\nCommunicates an understanding of current and developing cyber threats. \n\nDevelops written intelligence briefings for various levels of stakeholders. \n\nPenetration Testing Engineer II: \nPerforms basic security testing utilizing preconfigured tools and scripts \n\nAssists in the review and analysis of issues with security controls and identified vulnerabilities \n\nApplies security severity ratings with guidance \n\nDocuments security findings in workflow reporting tools \n\nBuilds knowledge of security testing tools \n\nIntrusion Analyst II: \nMonitors, analyzes, and remediates cybersecurity events by adhering to defined operating procedures. \n\nWorks problem tickets and outstanding cases. \n\nDocuments analytical steps during alert research and remediation. \n\nCommunicates with stakeholders during event troubleshooting and research. \n\nDrafts and reviews standard operating procedures for new cybersecurity alerts. \n\nSupports security operations center processes and procedures. \n\nModifies alert logic for higher fidelity and identifies new risk detections. \n\nImproves the quality of analytical capabilities by remediating missing or failed standard operating procedures and critical cybersecurity alerts. \n\nData Assurance Engineer II: \nMonitors data movement by utilizing data loss prevention tools. \n\nAnalyzes alerts and identifies correlating data points between various feeds, tools, and personal interactions. \n\nAnalyzes data to determine the need for further action. \n\nDevelops and implements data loss prevention system solutions by assisting Technical Experts in setting technical direction. \n\nOffice Environment: Corporate\nU.S. Tech Hub Location(s): Bentonville, AR\nDesired Majors: Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance, or other relevant majors\nMinimum Qualifications \nMust be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program currently \n\nExpected graduation date between December 2027-August 2028 \n\n0-2 years of full-time relevant experience (excludes internship and research-based roles) \n\nHousing and relocation available for those living outside a 50-mile radius of the Walmart Home Office\n#ECTech\nAt Walmart, we offer competitive pay and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet!\nFor information about benefits and eligibility, see One.Walmart.\nThe hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00*\n*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.\nㅤ\nㅤ\nㅤ\nㅤ\n\nMinimum Qualifications...\nOutlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.
