This internship provides direct exposure to corporate investigations while building analytical, research, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-moving environment.\nAbout the team:\nThe Trust & Safety - Fraud Prevention team protects the integrity of Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery and Spark Driver platforms by detecting and addressing fraud, account integrity issues, and policy violations. The Store Investigations team serves as the field-facing arm of Fraud Prevention, investigating suspected fraud and policy violations at delivery locations and store-level touchpoints. The team connects digital fraud signals with real-world evidence, documents investigative findings, and identifies patterns that help strengthen fraud detection, investigative practices, and policy. Through analysis, investigation, and collaboration, the team helps protect customers, drivers, and the business.\nWhat you'll do:\nSupport investigators by organizing case files and documenting evidence, findings, and investigation outcomes.\nAnalyze case data to identify geographic, temporal, and behavioral patterns associated with fraud.\nConduct supervised open-source intelligence (OSINT) research to support investigative findings.\nPrepare concise investigation summaries, reports, and regional fraud briefs for leadership review.\nTrack case outcomes and recurring trends across investigations.\nPartner with Fraud Prevention analysts to translate field-sourced intelligence into actionable insights.\nSupport development of investigation best practices, case studies, and documentation standards.\nUse Excel and other analytical tools to research trends, interpret data, and communicate findings.\nWhat you'll bring:\nStrong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify meaningful patterns in data.\nComfort working with data using Microsoft Excel or similar tools; SQL or other analytics tools are a plus.\nClear, concise written and verbal communication skills, including summarizing findings for leadership.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, defensible documentation.\nCuriosity about fraud investigations, OSINT, corporate security, or trust and safety.\nSound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive investigative information.\nCollaborative mindset and ability to learn quickly in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.\nAt Walmart, we offer competitive pay and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet!\nFor information about benefits and eligibility, see One.Walmart.\nThe hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00*\n*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.\nㅤ\nㅤ\nㅤ\nㅤ\n\nMinimum Qualifications...\nOutlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.
