The team partners with Sourcing, Product, Merchandising, Finance, and Procurement to turn complex data into trusted intelligence, driving speed, clarity, and value across the Source-to-Contract lifecycle. \nIn this critical leadership role, you’ll set analytical standards, shape performance narratives, and ensure insights are embedded in sourcing operations. \nWhat you'll do: \nDesign and implement business intelligence solutions to identify cost-savings opportunities and ensure adoption.\nPartner cross-functionally with Product, Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, and Merchandising to align data needs, performance metrics, and insights; driving work with urgency and agility while navigating competing priorities to deliver results.\nStructure ambiguous problems with prescriptive analytics, root-cause analysis and establish clear, governable business logic.\nBuild and present executive-ready visual stories to drive value-driven actions.\nMentor and upskill the team to build analytical bench strength.\n What you'll bring: \nStrong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills; experience translating data into actionable intelligence.\nData and tech savviness, with AI/ML knowledge in business context and experience pulling, manipulating, and interpreting large datasets; fluency in outcomes-based analysis.\nAbility to lead through influence with clear, compelling communication.\nHave proven experience developing practical predictive models in business domain.\nBackground in engineering, statistics, computational science, or related quantitative field.\nExperience in management consulting, sourcing & procurement, supply chain, or business strategy.\n At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
