What you'll do \nDefine business strategies for emerging AI and agentic commerce opportunities, including where Walmart should participate, differentiate, and invest.\nUse data and analytics to size opportunities, diagnose performance, build business cases, and measure impact.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and business models to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.\nLead initiatives end-to-end, from opportunity assessment and strategy through experimentation, launch, measurement, and scale.\nWork with leading technology platforms to evaluate and develop new partnerships, business models, and customer experiences.\nDevelop strategies across emerging areas such as AI-driven discovery, agentic commerce, distribution, and monetization.\nTranslate strategic opportunities into clear priorities, operating plans, and cross-functional roadmaps.\nDrive alignment and execution across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Marketing, and other teams.\n\nWhat you'll bring \nStrong background in business strategy, strategy & operations, strategic partnerships, consulting, or a related field, with a track record of turning ambiguous problems into actionable strategies and results.\nExceptional analytical skills and experience working directly with data to develop insights, size opportunities, build business cases, and evaluate performance.\nStrong curiosity and fluency in AI and emerging technology trends, with the ability to understand new capabilities and translate them into business opportunities.\nAn operator mentality-comfortable going beyond strategy to drive initiatives through execution, launch, and scale.\nExperience owning complex initiatives from zero-to-one, with the ability to operate independently and create structure where little exists.\nStrong business judgment and the ability to translate emerging technologies into customer and commercial opportunities.\nAbility to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and external technology partners.\nExceptional communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders while remaining close to the details.\nAt Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
