This position is 4 days a week for a 10 hour shift from 2:45pm to 1am with possible work on Fridays 1pm to 9pm.\nRequired Systems/Applications:\nMonarch\nEssential Functions:\nSet up, run, and maintain assigned machinery.\nTroubleshoot assigned machinery according to company procedures and practices to assure efficiency and quality to meet the required production schedule.\nRead and understand the written information pertaining to the job.\nStrive to meet or exceed departmental and company goals.\nInterpret and apply department policies, procedures and job instructions accurately. \nCommunicate effectively with incoming shift personnel to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.\nMaintain accurate counts. \nFollow all safety procedures as set forth by Walsworth.\nMove and organize scheduled work for assigned machinery.\nAssist in training new Bindery Operators.\nMonitor production and quality to make recommendations on process improvements. \nAll other duties as assigned. \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAbility to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work in a team environment.\nAbility to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.\nAbility to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.\nMust communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.\nAbility to work required overtime beyond the standard 40-hour workweek depending on production requirements. \nWorking Conditions/Physical Demands:\nRequired to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.\nUse hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or use controls, tools or equipment.\nMay require the ability to use a keyboard and other office equipment.\nMay require specific vision abilities that include close vision.\nMay be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time.\nMay be required to lift, carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight.\nMay be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent. \nMinimum of 6 months in a Bindery
