Here are some key responsibilities for such a position:\nProject Planning and Management:\nDevelop detailed project plans to meet client/project requirements and deadlines.\nManage the overall project lifecycle from inception through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.\nEnsure compliance with both local and international building codes and regulations.\nTechnical Leadership:\nProvide technical guidance and oversight on the analysis, design, and delivery of structural engineering projects.\nUtilize advanced engineering tools and techniques to optimize project outcomes.\nDevelop/implement/follow a robust QA/QC process to review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions when necessary.\nAs and when required as per client requirements conduct regular site visits in India during the construction phase of the project. Prepare site observation reports and share with client and contractor.\nTeam Coordination and Leadership:\n Lead and motivate a team of engineers and modelers, fostering a collaborative environment to maximize productivity and morale.\nConduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and to address any technical or operational challenges.\nDelegate tasks effectively, considering team member’s strengths and project requirements.\nClient Interaction and Communication:\nAct as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.\nUnderstand and address client needs and expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.\nNegotiate with clients and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project delivery within agreed parameters.\nWhenever required participate in business development and client presentations.\n Professional Development and Innovation:\nStay updated with the latest advancements in structural engineering and project management methodologies.\nEncourage continuous learning and development within the team through workshops, courses, and professional certifications.\nExplore innovative solutions and technologies that can improve efficiency and outcomes of structural engineering projects.\nOur clients include architects, developers, institutional entities, and contractors.
