The qualified candidate will have at least 6+ years’ relevant experience working in the areas of steel design, steel connection design and erection sequencing analysis.\nThe qualified candidate should possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated senior engineer who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity and aggressiveness when meeting client and project needs are required.\nClients will include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors. In addition to all the skills listed above, the qualified candidate should possess a strong “can-do” customer service attitude.\nQualifications\n6-9 years’ experience in steel design, steel connection design and erection sequencing analysis\nDemonstrated career growth that includes supervision of junior staff\nMaster’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural strongly preferred\nP.E. license within your residing state, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months\nExperience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) a plus\nSAP 2000 modeling experience required\nCandidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skill, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented\nHybrid Firm Position:\nWalter P Moore is a Hybrid firm, offering a unique opportunity to have the best of in-office and work from home environments.
