We lead by example, move fast, make data-aware decisions, and continuously push for more- always with a focus on delivering real value to customers.\nYou would be joining a world-class team that combines deep research expertise and real-world product execution, with experience spanning Deepmind, Google, Amazon, Miro, Elise AI, IBM and Accern.\nPosition Summary\nWe are hiring for a Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) to help drive quality across our engineering teams by designing and implementing scalable automated testing solutions.\nThe SDET will focus primarily on API testing, with additional responsibility for end-to-end UI testing. They will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to analyse requirements, design automated test cases, and ensure high levels of test coverage and reliability.\nThis role also involves guiding software engineering teams on quality engineering practices, improving testing frameworks, and exploring innovative approaches such as AI-assisted test generation.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyse product requirements and translate them into automated test cases and strategies.\n\nDesign, build, and maintain automated test cases for AI-Based API and UI automation testing.\n\nAdopt and implement contract-based API testing approaches across services and integrations.\n\nReview and improve existing test frameworks, tooling, CI/CD process, and automation architecture.\n\nDefine and implement Standard QA processes and best practices within engineering teams.\n\nWork closely with developers to create shared ownership of software quality.\n\nCollaborate with teams to validate user journeys and client-facing workflows.\n\nCoach and guide teams on test automation and quality practices.\n\nTake responsibility for testing outcomes and quality results within the team.\n\nBuild and maintain custom testing tools to support development teams.\n\nKey Requirements\nAbility to systematically analyse product requirements, identify potential risks earlier, and design effective automated test strategies.\n\nExperience working closely with developers in collaborative engineering teams.\n\nStrong experience in test automation and quality engineering in a software development environment.\n\nExtensive experience with API testing.\n\nExperience with UI automation testing tools (e.g., Playwright).\n\nStrong programming skills in TypeScript and/or Python, and CI/CD pipelines\n\nAbility to review, improve, and scale testing frameworks and processes.\n\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with contract testing.\n\nFamiliarity with Temporal workflows and strategies for testing distributed processes.\n\nExperience developing custom automation tooling.\n\nExperience working with AI-assisted testing tools or automated test generation.\n\nExperience evaluating or improving automation frameworks across teams.\n\nPersonal Characteristics\nProactive and self-driven, with a strong can-do attitude.\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking
