LET’S GO!\nㅤ\nAs an FP&A Analyst, you will support financial planning and analysis activities for a business area within Warner Bros. Discovery. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners and key stakeholders to provide accurate, timely and insightful financial analysis, reporting and forecasting to support business decision-making.\nThis role offers an opportunity to contribute to financial planning processes, improve reporting and management information, and support broader finance transformation initiatives.\nYour Role Accountabilities\nSupport the month-end close process from an FP&A perspective, including variance analysis and review of financial performance.\nPerform detailed reviews of actual spend and financial results in partnership with Finance Business Partners and budget owners.\nSummarize key findings and provide insights to support business discussions and decision-making.\nAssist with monthly forecasting activities, including preparation of forecast submissions and updates to relevant financial systems.\nSupport the annual budgeting and planning process, including preparation of templates and review of planning assumptions.\nSupport financial analysis of key business initiatives, including the development and analysis of business cases.\nDevelop actionable insights to help improve financial performance and business outcomes.\nProvide accurate, timely and relevant financial reporting and management information.\nInterpret and clearly communicate financial results, reports and analysis to relevant stakeholders.\nContinuously review and improve management reporting and information to enhance decision-making.\nProactively identify trends, variances and opportunities through analysis of financial data.\nSupport ad hoc financial analysis, reporting and governance activities as required.\nMaintain and improve processes supporting financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities.\nContribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives as appropriate.\nQualifications & Experience\n2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably within FP&A, financial analysis or a related finance function.\nExperience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.\nGeneral understanding of accounting and financial principles.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.\nExperience with financial planning, reporting or business intelligence systems is preferred.\nExperience with tools such as EPM platforms (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC/SAC) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.\nStrong oral and written English communication skills.\nProactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.\nStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong interest in leveraging technology and data to improve financial processes and reporting.\nCIMA/ACCA qualification or progress toward a relevant professional qualification is desirable.\nAbout Skydance\nSkydance is a next-generation global media and entertainment company, comprised of three business segments: Studios, Direct-to-Consumer, and TV Media.
