LET’S GO!\nㅤ\nROLE SUMMARY\nThe Physical Security SOC Operator will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, documenting, and escalating physical security incidents across Warner Bros. Discovery facilities and operations. The role requires continuous monitoring of CCTV systems, access control platforms, alarm systems, life-safety systems, and other security technologies to ensure timely response to security events and operational disruptions. \nThe successful candidate will work closely with site security teams, facilities management, emergency responders, business stakeholders, and corporate security leadership to maintain a safe and secure operating environment.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nPhysical Security Monitoring & Incident Management\nMonitor CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, panic alarms, life-safety systems, and other physical security platforms. \nIdentify, assess, and respond to suspicious activities, security incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and emergency situations.\nConduct initial incident assessment and determine appropriate escalation paths. \nCoordinate with on-site security personnel and relevant stakeholders during security events. \nMaintain continuous situational awareness of facilities and critical operations. \nEmergency Response Coordination\nSupport emergency response activities for medical incidents, fire alarms, facility disruptions, workplace violence concerns, and other critical events. \nInitiate emergency notification and escalation procedures as required. \nCoordinate communication between security personnel, facilities teams, and management during incidents. \nMonitor incidents through resolution and ensure proper documentation. \nAccess Control & Security Systems Management\nMonitor and administer access control requests and alarm events. \nVerify access-related incidents and investigate unauthorized access attempts. \nSupport visitor management processes and credential-related inquiries. \nEnsure proper operation of physical security systems and escalate technical issues when identified. \nOperational Reporting & Documentation\nPrepare daily activity reports, incident summaries, and shift handover reports. \nMaintain detailed incident logs and case documentation. \nRecord security events accurately within reporting and case management systems. \nProvide timely updates to stakeholders regarding ongoing incidents and operational concerns. \nCompliance & Process Adherence\nFollow established corporate security procedures and SOC operating protocols. \nEnsure compliance with security policies, site procedures, and regulatory requirements. \nParticipate in emergency exercises, security drills, and business continuity activities. \nSupport security audits, investigations, and compliance reviews as required. \nREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE \nSecurity Operations Skills\nHands-on experience with: \nSecurity platforms: ServiceNow, Everbridge, Ontic, Genetec, ACRE Feenics, CCURE & Lenel o Security equipment: CCTV, access control, alarms, FACP panels. \nUnderstanding of physical security principles and corporate security operations. \nExperience monitoring CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, and security management platforms. \nKnowledge of incident management and emergency response procedures. \nFamiliarity with visitor management and access control processes. \nUnderstanding of workplace security, life-safety, and crisis management concepts. \nAnalytical Skills\nAbility to assess incidents and prioritize response actions. \nStrong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. \nAbility to identify anomalies and escalate concerns appropriately. \nCommunication Skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills. \nAbility to document incidents accurately and professionally. \nComfortable communicating with security personnel, employees, vendors, and management teams. \n PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's Degree preferred. \nMinimum 5 years of experience in a Physical Security SOC, GSOC (Global Security Operations Center), Command Center, Corporate Security Operations, or related environment. \nExperience working within a 24x7 operational environment. \nExposure to multinational corporate security programs. \nExperience supporting large-scale facilities, corporate campuses, or media/entertainment environments. \n PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS\nOne or more of the following certifications would be advantageous:\nASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) \nASIS Associate Protection Professional (APP) \nCertified Protection Professional (CPP) -
