We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent - want to join the ride?\nWe are looking for an On-Call Trainee for Indirect Procurement to join our team in Vaasa, Finland.\nIndirect Procurement is a global strategic support function in Wärtsilä serving all employees, functions and businesses in their indirect purchasing needs. Indirect Procurement in Finland is responsible for negotiating and managing contracts as well as developing and maintaining supplier relationships.\nAs a Trainee, you will support the Indirect Procurement team with a variety of tasks related to sourcing activities, contract management, supplier management, and reporting. Working time is agreed upon based on the need (max 25h/week) and agreed upon on a monthly basis.\nWhat we are looking for\nYou are currently pursuing a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, and you have:\nExcellent written and spoken Finnish and English\nAn outgoing and proactive personality\nStrong problem-solving skills and a structured, analytical way of working\nA genuine interest in procurement and supply chain management\nExperience, studies, or a strong interest in one or more of the following areas will be considered an advantage:\nSupply Chain Management\nStrategic Sourcing and Purchasing\nAccounting\nFinance\nIn addition, knowledge of operational purchasing, accounting processes, and data analysis is highly valued.\nWhat we offer\nWe are looking for motivated students with a positive \"can-do\" attitude who enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
