Want to join the ride?\nAbout the Role\n\nAs a Shift Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our power plant. This position demands a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork. You will be responsible for monitoring plant performance, maintaining operational standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This role is open to applicants within Indonesia and requires daily attendance at our Indonesia plant and willing to travel 20%.\nLocation: Timika, Papua - Indonesia\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOperational Monitoring: Continuously monitor and record parameters for all equipment under the contract to ensure optimal performance. \nEquipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks to keep equipment in top working condition and report any abnormalities promptly to the Shift Supervisor or Operation Foreman. \nIncident Reporting: Identify and escalate operational issues, ensuring timely corrective actions to minimize downtime. \nTeam Collaboration: Work closely with other crews and departments to maintain seamless operations and effective communication across shifts. \nSafety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and operational procedures, promoting a culture of safety and reliability. \nDocumentation: Maintain accurate logs and reports for operational activities, inspections, and incidents. \nSupport Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving plant efficiency and reliability. \n\nQualifications & Skills:\n\nEducation: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. \nExperience: 1-3 years in a similar role; prior exposure to power plant operations or industrial environments is highly desirable. \nTechnical Skills: Strong understanding of plant operations, equipment monitoring, and troubleshooting. \nSoft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. \n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nBe part of a global energy leader committed to sustainability and innovation. \nGain hands-on experience in power plant operations and cutting-edge technologies. \nWork in a collaborative environment that values safety, integrity, and professional growth. \nSuccessful applicants must be authorized to work in Indonesia without sponsorship.\nThe starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate's relevant education, individual skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered and consideration of internal equity.\n\nContact & next steps:\nDoes this sound like the job for you?
