It’s all part of our vision to make cloud storage the next great global utility, just like electricity.\nCloud Technical Support Engineer - Co-op\nUnited States of America/ Boston, MA\n*Our preferred candidate will be located in the Boston area and able to work a hybrid (onsite/remote) schedule.\nRole Description: Cloud Tech Support Engineer - Co-op\nRole Purpose:\nWasabi Technologies Inc. is seeking for an enthusiastic candidate who has a software\nengineering background and interest to join our exciting team for a period of 6 - 8 months co-\nop term from January - August 2027.\nThe position reports to the Director, Technical Support Engineering, and will work closely\nwith our Support Team, the Product Team, Development & QA Teams, and other Co-ops.\n*Principals Only. No Recruiters.\nResponsibilities:\nHelp our enterprise customers integrate their applications with Wasabi.\nAssist our partners in successfully deploying Wasabi into their customer\nenvironments.\nExplore the inner workings of the S3 protocol and how it communicates with\nWasabi’s services.\nEngage with Wasabi sales and development engineers worldwide to enhance our\nservice.\nRequirements:\nComputer Science/Telecommunication Networks or Software Engineering\nbackground (this work will involve utilizing existing in-built tools and creating new\ntools/utilities that can talk to Wasabi Cloud).\nDesire to diagnose, research, reproduce, and report defects, working closely with\nR&D (this work will involve testing our storage service with third-party storage\napplications and working with our customers on their storage-related use cases).\nSupport our partner engineering team by validation interop between Wasabi and\nhundreds of third-party software applications using APIs & SDKs.\nFamiliarity with AWS S3/Cloud storage.\nUnderstanding of Linux and networking protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS.\n\nCurrently residing in Massachusetts, Boston Metro preferred.\n\nAbility to work 40hrs per week in a hybrid structured model.\nMaster's degree preferred.\nBase Pay Range - $25/hr - $32/hr \nThe base pay range reflects the full range for this position at Wasabi Technologies.
