What You’ll Do:
- Operate a garbage truck safely on designated routes in and around St. Helena.
- Read route sheets and service each customer as scheduled.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Load and unload waste materials-sometimes without a helper.
- Use hydraulic controls to lift and dispose of refuse.
- Interact courteously with customers and represent our company professionally.
What You’ll Need:
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
- Valid medical card.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
- Basic truck knowledge and ability to complete inspections.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
Work Conditions:
- Physically demanding work with heavy lifting and exposure to outdoor elements.
- Moderate noise and occasional exposure to mechanical risks-safety is our top priority.
