This position requires a blend of technicalexpertise, business acumen, andstrong communicationskills, with ownership spanning the full lifecycle from data exploration and model development to deployment and adoption.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPartner with business stakeholders toidentifyopportunities for analytics, automation, and AI solutions\n\nDevelop, deploy, andmaintainmachine learning models and advanced analytics solutions\n\nDesign and build scalable data pipelines and data products\n\nPerform data analysis, feature engineering, forecasting, and statistical modeling\n\nCreate dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools to support decision-making\n\nMonitor, improve, and support production analytics solutions\n\nPresent findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences\n\nDrive measurable business impact through data-driven insights and operational improvements\n\nCollaborate with data engineers, analysts, and technology teams on enterprise initiatives\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related quantitative field\n\n3+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or a related discipline\n\nStrongproficiencyin Python and SQL\n\nExperience building and deploying production machine learning or analytics solutions\n\nExperience developing andmaintainingdata pipelines\n\nStrong knowledge of statistics, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation techniques\n\nExperience communicating analytical findings to business stakeholders\n\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Databricks, Spark, orPySpark\n\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure\n\nExperience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools\n\nExperience with modern dataarchitecturesandlakehouseenvironments\n\nExperience developing AI-enabled applications\n\nFamiliarity with forecasting, optimization, customer analytics, pricing, or operational analytics\n\n What We Offer\nOpportunity to work on high-impact business problems\n\nExposure to analytics, machine learning, data engineering, and AI initiatives\n\nDirect interaction with business leaders and decision-makers\n\nOwnership of projects from concept through production deployment\n\nCollaborative team environment with strong opportunities for growth and development\n\nWaste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
