This position supports the Maintenance Department with a combination of administrative responsibilities and shop-related tasks throughout the day.\nSCHEDULE: This is a Monday through Friday position, typically working 10- to 12-hour shifts, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Employees can expect to work approximately 50 to 60 hours per week. We offer competitive pay, family benefits, a 401(k), vacation time, and steady year-round work.\nPAY RANGE: $20-$24/HR DOE\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nGather, input, retrieve and maintain maintenance information in both computer and manual systems\nProvide general clerical work to assure the smooth operation of the Maintenance Department while communicating with the Maintenance Manager\nGeneral clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, Scanning, posting of notices, and ordering of parts and supplies as directed\nDevelop and issue computer reports as requested\nAssist with and/or prepare materials\nCompile information such as identification of items, cost, vendor, freight charges, etc. for purchasing of all maintenance materials\nReview documents for sufficiency and maintaining any necessary follow-up\nMaintain all files and inventory records of all orders placed and received, including delivery time schedules\nUtilize parts management software Excel, and other office programs\nMaintain parts warehouse and inventories in accordance with Company policy\nDemonstrates the knowledge and effective use of software applications. These systems should include as a minimum MS Word and Excel\nREQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nFamiliar with vehicle, hand/air/battery powered tools and equipment parts to assist shop personnel with equipment repairs preferred!\nExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and E-Mail, proficient in 10 key, keyboarding and typing skills a must\nExcellent verbal communications skills\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs.\nHighly Organized\nWaste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
