Our culture is built on trust, accountability, teamwork, and respect for our employees, customers, and communities.\nLong-Term Career Growth\nThis position offers a unique opportunity to build a long-term career with a company known for promoting from within and investing in employee development.\nAbout the Role\nAs an Operations Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role in overseeing daily hauling operations, managing frontline employees, driving safety performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for candidates with leadership experience in transportation, logistics, trucking, manufacturing, distribution, or other operations-focused environments who are eager to grow their careers.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead and supervise drivers and operations personnel in daily collection activities.\nMonitor route performance, workforce productivity, and operational efficiency.\nAdjust staffing and resources to meet daily service and business demands.\nChampion a strong safety culture through coaching, training, inspections, and accountability.\nConduct ride-alongs, customer site inspections, field observations, and operational audits to ensure safe work practices, equipment condition, and regulatory compliance.\nInvestigate and resolve customer service concerns while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.\nCoach, mentor, and develop employees through performance management, training, and ongoing feedback.\nAssist in developing short- and long-term operational goals and strategic initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with environmental regulations, OSHA requirements, DOT standards, and local permitting requirements.\nPartner with maintenance, safety, customer service, and leadership teams to achieve operational objectives.\nRequired Qualifications\nWillingness and ability to relocate for future promotional opportunities based on performance.\nExperience in transportation, trucking, logistics, fleet operations, manufacturing, distribution, or related operational leadership environments.\nStrong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.\nAbility to prioritize multiple responsibilities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and business management systems.\nAbility to obtain a Class B CDL within 90 days of hire.\nTo be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at www.careers.wasteconnections.com.
