This individual develops and manages a team of project stakeholders and support teams to manage project scope, budget, schedule, risk, and opportunity development from project conception through to completion. The successful candidate will be energetic and highly organized, working in a highly collaborative multidisciplinary technical team. This individual will work closely with our Operations group to build and maintain a positive, fun, and entrepreneurial culture that is strong and vibrant.\nAs a Project Engineer with us, the minimum responsibilities are:\nCollaborate with project stakeholders and support teams to create a plan to achieve successful project execution, commissioning, delivery, and handoff to Operations\nDevelopment and management of project scope, schedule, and cost through the Engineering phase\nProvide Engineering support to various stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams\nIdentification and assessment of opportunities for facility optimization, debottlenecking, and expansion\nOngoing identification of project risks, and development of strategies to mitigate identified risks\nStrategy development for capital deployment to ensure efficient utilization of capital to support the overarching requirements of the business\nLead project planning sessions, update meetings, and technical review\nCoordination and management of the Management of Change (MOC) system\nSupport development of both Growth and Sustaining capital planning\nWork closely with Regulatory, Safety, and Operations teams\nWhat We Need From You:\nProfessional Engineer (P.Eng), Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.), or equivalent\nA minimum of 5 years’ experience in project engineering\nThe ability to work collaboratively and communicate with varied stakeholder groups\nAbility to develop relationships within a project setting\nStrong writing skills for the development of clear and concise project planning documents\nUnderstanding of engineered drawings, technical specifications, and contracts\nA detail-oriented approach to project planning and execution\nProficiency in the use of MS Office 365: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, DocuSign and Outlook\nMust be able to pass all pre-employment requirements\nWhat You’ll Get From Us:\nCompetitive Wages\nRetirement Plan with company match; let us help you save for your future\nBenefits; Medical, Dental, Vision\nPerks, perks, perks!
