The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with computer systems, including Excel and WasteWorks.\nLocation: Champ Landfill, Maryland Heights, MO\nPay: Competitive Pay\nSchedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities Available\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nGreet customers, drivers, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.\nAccurately weigh inbound and outbound vehicles using the scale system.\nProcess cash, credit card, and account transactions while maintaining accurate records.\nProvide excellent customer service and efficiently handle a high volume of customer interactions.\nUtilize Microsoft Excel and WasteWorks software to enter, track, and maintain operational data.\nAnswer phones and assist customers with questions regarding landfill services, pricing, and procedures.\nBalance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions.\nPerform end-of-day closing procedures, including reporting and documentation.\nEnsure all cash, checks, and other forms of payment are secured and accurately accounted for.\nMaintain organized files and records in accordance with company policies and procedures.\nWork closely with site operations personnel to support efficient daily landfill operations.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPrevious experience in customer service, cashiering, administrative support, or scale house operations preferred.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nDependable, punctual, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.\nWhat We're Looking For\nThe successful candidate will have a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
