As a Scale Attendant with us the minimum responsibilities are:\nGreet and direct all customers and employees upon entry of the transfer station.\nWeighing trucks in and out and calculating payments for customers.\nTrack weight information from scale to computer system and get appropriate signatures.\nEnsuring that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material.\nAnswers phone in a professional and enthusiastic fashion.\nPerforms full clerical and general office duties.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).\nAssisting with office duties, filing and paperwork as needed.\nEnsuring that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nProviding general upkeep of the Scale House.\nAbility to work in a team environment and demonstrate a high degree of tact, discretion and diplomacy.\n\nJob Requirements\nExcellent customer service skills.\nGood computer skills.\nAbility to multi-task.\nPrior cash handling experience required.\nReliability and punctuality is a must.\nWhat you’ll get from us:\nCompetitive Compensation\n401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your future\nHealthcare; Medical, Dental, Vision\nPerks, perks, perks!
