If you are a highly qualified individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, please review the following:\nPosition Overview:\nWe are seeking a reliable, hands-on CDL Driver - Water & Wastewater Technician to deliver, install, and service mobile water and wastewater purification units at remote customer sites. This hybrid role requires safe commercial vehicle operation, basic mechanical and plumbing skills, and the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams. You will be critical to supporting field operations and ensuring clean water delivery to essential infrastructure locations.\nResponsibilities:\nDriving & Transport (CDL Duties)\nOperate manual transmission tanker/commercial trucks to haul water and wastewater to/from remote customer sites, treatment facilities, or disposal locations.\nLoad, transport, and unload liquid materials safely using proper procedures and PPE.\nConduct thorough pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections; promptly report mechanical or safety concerns.\nMaintain accurate driver logs, mileage, load documentation, and DOT-compliant inspection records.\nNavigate urban, rural, and off-road environments safely, while ensuring load integrity and vehicle condition.\nField Technician Responsibilities\nRig up/down purification trailers as customer sites relocate or project needs change.\nPerform basic preventive maintenance and light mechanical repairs on equipment.\nInstall and troubleshoot plumbing from source to end-use delivery.\nMonitor equipment performance, ensuring water and wastewater units function properly.\nCommunicate clearly and respectfully with customers and internal teams.\nAssist in coordinating field service activities with operators, technicians, and remote monitoring teams.\nContribute to team learning by sharing experience and supporting fellow technicians.\nMaintain a safe, secure, and clean work environment, both in the field and at company locations.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nHigh School Grad; or GED \nMinimum of 2 years of experience operating manual transmission trucks, hauling loads, and behind-the-wheel driving\nValid CDL Class A with tanker endorsement (N)\nClean MVR with no more than 1 moving violations in the past 3 years\nMust pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening\nAcceptable background check with no DWI convictions in the past 5 years\nAbility to lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs. and operate valves, hoses, and pump equipment\nFoster teamwork and collaboration between department(s)\nWillingness to travel, work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed\nStrong awareness of safety protocols and environmental compliance\nRespectable appearance and professional demeanor\nQualifications:\nExperience hauling water, wastewater, or non-potable liquids\nMechanical aptitude for field troubleshooting\nGeneral computer skills, including mobile apps and equipment diagnostics\nKnowledge of oilfield or utility environments\nFamiliarity with customer service and technical field operations\nSupervisory Responsibility:\nNone \nBenefits:\nCompany Paid Life Insurance\nMedical/Dental/Vision Insurance\nHealth Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA)\nDisability Insurance (Short & Long Term)\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n401k Retirement Plan (Pre-tax & Roth) with company matching\nTime Off:\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nPersonal Leave Time (PLT)\nEight (8) Company Paid Holidays\nPay Frequency:\nBi-Weekly (26x/year)\nAmericans with Disabilities/Specifications/Physical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
