If you are a highly qualified individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, please review the following:\nPosition Overview:\nThe Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing manufacturing projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Project Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and external vendors to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Management:\nPlan, manage, and execute manufacturing projects such as new product introductions, equipment installations, process improvements, and facility upgrades\nDevelop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans\nCoordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, maintenance, procurement, and suppliers)\nMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (e.g., TCEQ, OSHA, EPA where applicable)\nManage capital and operational expenditures related to projects\nTrack and report project performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership\nLead project meetings, maintain documentation, and communicate status updates\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, or similar methodologies\nManage change requests and ensure proper documentation and approvals\nEngineering & Design\nPerform engineering analyses, calculations, and simulations to validate designs and ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards.\nSupport the design and development of mobile and decentralized water/wastewater systems, focusing on integration with PLC controls and automation.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, bills of materials, and O&M manuals.\nAssist in the evaluation of new technologies, materials, and equipment to improve reliability and performance.\nCollaboration & Communication:\nWork closely with Operations, Compliance, and Controls Engineering teams to define project needs, develop solutions, and implement improvements.\nAct as the key liaison between Maintenance Suppliers and the Engineering Department, ensuring clear communication and resolution of technical issues.\nReview and respond to drawings, submittals, and RFIs (Requests for Information) to support ongoing project.\nQuality & Compliance:\nEnsure all projects comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport quality assurance efforts, including inspections, documentation review, and feedback for continuous improvement.\nAssist with regulatory engagement as needed for permit applications and approval.\nContinuous Improvement:\nStay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in water/wastewater systems, controls, and automation.\nIdentify opportunities for improvement in design, project execution, and system performance.\nContribute to internal best practices, SOPs, and engineering standards.\nRequired Qualifications: \nBachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.\nProfessional Engineering certification in the state of Texas\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project design, development, or management and a strong technical background.\nExperience with mobile or decentralized water/wastewater systems, PLC controls, or industrial automation.\nValid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years; no DWIs in the past 5 years).\nAbility to pass a background check and meet field safety and compliance requirements.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) and project management software (MS Project, Primavera).\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with CAD design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).\nFamiliarity with hydraulic modeling or electrical control system layouts.\nHands-on experience with equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver technical projects on time and within budget.\nCore Competencies\nProject Planning & Execution\nTechnical Design & Documentation\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nQuality Assurance & Compliance\nCommunication & Problem Solving\nInnovation & Continuous Improvement\nSupervisory Responsibility:\nNone \nBenefits:\nCompany Paid Life Insurance\nMedical/Dental/Vision Insurance\nHealth Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA)\nDisability Insurance (Short & Long Term)\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n401k Retirement Plan (Pre-tax & Roth) with company matching\nTime Off:\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nPersonal Leave Time (PLT)\nEight (8) Company Paid Holidays\nPay Frequency:\nBi-Weekly (26x/year)\nAmericans with Disabilities/Specifications/Physical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
